We’re taking you WAY up Observatory Inlet this week… to a place most boats our size never make it to — Alice Arm.

It was once a booming silver mining town built around the Dolly Varden Mine, then nearly abandoned. But it’s not quite a ghost town anymore. Every summer, people return for the fishing… and now mining exploration is starting up again.

We spent time exploring what’s left, walking through the old town, and of course… dropping a few prawn traps in these remote waters.
