Real Time Update – Onboard Tangaroa
We’ve been on the move — and I mean really on the move.
Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve put more than 600 nautical miles behind us as we’ve been cruising south. Yep… south. After months of pushing north into smaller and smaller towns, ice-cold anchorages, and some questionable weather decisions, it feels a little strange to be heading the other direction.
But there’s a reason.
We’ve got a massive project coming up.
One of the biggest things we’ve ever taken on with Tangaroa.
We can’t share the details publicly just yet — that announcement is coming in January — but our online crew is getting the inside scoop next Wednesday, just 10 days from now. If you’re part of the crew, which you can join right here at onboardtangaroa.com, keep an eye out. And if you’re not… this is definitely the time to join.
Now for everyone wondering about the Great Siberian Sushi Run…
Don’t worry.
We’re not abandoning it, ending it, or cutting it short.
We’re simply pausing the story while we tackle this big project.
Then, at the end of April or early May, we’ll take Tangaroa right back to Wrangell, tie up exactly where we left off, and continue north — Japan is still the goal.
And if you’re watching our Exploring channel?
You won’t even know we stopped.
That storyline keeps going, with all the places we filmed along the way.
So yes — a lot is happening behind the scenes.
A lot of miles.
A lot of planning.
A lot of excitement building for what’s coming next.
Thanks for following along, for supporting this crazy dream, and for being part of what we’re creating out here.
We wouldn’t be doing any of this without you.
