This is Tangaroa's “Hybrid-Electric” Tee, designed for anyone who loves a good engine and is curious about what comes next. The badge is from Operation Silent Running, our project to convert Tangaroa, a 78-foot aluminum yacht built in 1969 and found abandoned in Alaska, from diesel to hybrid-electric. It shows both sides of the story: diesel on one, electric on the other, and a lightning bolt down the middle.
Wear it if you've followed the build from day one. Wear it if you just like a good-looking badge. Either way, someone will ask. The badge covers the back, with Tangaroa's logo on the chest. It fits close, so go up a size if you like it roomy.
