This is Tangaroa's “Hybrid-Electric” Sweatshirt, designed for people who can't leave a good idea alone. The badge is from Operation Silent Running, our project to convert Tangaroa, a 78-foot aluminum yacht built in 1969 and found abandoned in Alaska, from diesel to hybrid-electric. Diesel on one side, electric on the other, and a lightning bolt down the middle to keep the peace.

Wear it to the boatyard, the hardware store or the Sunday walk, and somebody will ask about the badge. Then you get to tell the story. The big badge sits across the back, with Tangaroa's logo on the chest.

A Length

Start the measurement from the collar at the top (high point shoulder) and extend the measuring tape down to the item's bottom.

B Width

Begin measuring at one side at the chest level and extend the tape horizontally to the opposite side.

C Sleeve length

Start measuring from the back center of the collar, proceed along the sleeve's top seam to the shoulder, secure the tape there, and continue until you reach the end of the sleeve.
